Evolutions' Indoor Climbing Parties or Outdoor Climbing Parties are unique, exciting, challenging, but above all FUN.
Indoor Climbing Parties
1 Hour Roped Climbing Tuition, followed by Unlimited Bouldering.
Recommended for all ages, 6 – 96 yrs.
Parties at Evolution are brilliant; they are so much fun your children won't want to leave – and now they don't have to! Our parties consist of 1 hour tuition with your instructor in our dedicated party area then you can stay on and use the bouldering area for as long as you like afterwards (provided parents are supervising). We can even provide a party tea or you can hire our cabin and do your own.
Why not add an extra hour and do a second activity? Abseiling or Leap of Faith for £35

Children’s Party Food
Food is an optional extra with every party.
We will take care of everything, all you need to bring is the cake! oh and a tablecloth. There is a selection sandwiches, soft drinks, fruit, vegetable sticks, crisps, jelly, chocolate and fresh popcorn, Tea and coffee for grown ups. Food comes packed in a hamper ready for you to lay up the party room to suit you or if the weather permits you can even take it outside into our garden area.
Note: We allow a 1.5 hour window for the use of our party room with every booking. This starts 30 minute's after the tuition begins allowing you plenty of time to set up and tidy up, either side of the food.
For groups wishing to bring their own food the charge for hiring the cabin is £20 for the 90 minute period.

Outdoor Climbing Parties
Fantastic outdoor birthday parties based on the superb rock formations at Harrison's Rocks, Groombridge. Cleverly designed non- stop action gives each child the opportunity to experience success and the thrill of moving on rock. Evolved over the last 50 years our teaching system combines detailed tuition with adventurous outdoor fun. You will see huge changes in confidence and ability by the end of the session and also usually a difference in colour - it can get quite grubby sometimes.
2 Hour Bouldering Parties:
At Soft Rock we start all our Birthday parties by using the unique rock formations as a natural assault course, with low level confidence building climbs, exciting races, squeezes & loads of FUN. We tailor each challenge to the individual ability of the group members. Our Bouldering sessions are a fast moving exciting, challenging introduction to climbing. Each child gets the personal attention of the instructor throughout the session, ensuring they gain confidence as the session progresses.
All safety equipment is provided.

3 Hour Roped Climbing Party:
These parties start with the same fast moving exciting low level climbs as a bouldering party, giving the instructor the chance to assess the individual abilities within the group, we then introduce rope work and teach the basic techniques needed to climb in complete safety on southern sandstone. Climbs are chosen to match the ability of individuals, as well as the group as a whole. Every child will get the opportunity to attempt full height roped climbs during this period.
All safety equipment is provided.

Full Day Parties or Family Days
The Ultimate!
We also provide a more leisurely full day session combining all of the above sessions. Start your day’s activities at Evolution Indoor Climbing; learn how to move on rock and some basic rope work and safety skills. Build your skills and confidence slowly and give abseiling a try, then after lunch nip down to the local rocks to continue improving your skills. These parties run from 10am to 4pm, but can also be arranged at times to suit you. We can even provide the transfer between venues.
